As students, we sometimes lack the life experience and poise to interview confidently, but you can practice verbal and nonverbal communication skills in your everyday interactions, which will make things easier once you get into an interview situation.

Remember to have good posture, dress appropriately, shake hands and make eye contact. It is also a great idea to practice responding to questions you are sure they will ask, such as: Why are you interested in this position, or what experience do you have doing this work?
